Urban Legends
"Urban Legends" is a photography project created from the phantasmagorias of second and fourth-year students from the Photography Department at the Łódź Film School. The visualized stories draw directly from examples of 20th-century avant-garde, only to then veer into afterimages from horror films. The city of Łódź serves as the base for crafting these stories, with gossip, memes, and fake news as inspiration, all tied together by the world of perpetual construction and renovation work. The project results from the collaboration between the studios of Szymon Kobusiński and Bownik, lecturers at PWSFTviT.
