12 perspectives of contemporary photography in Saxony
Fotoforum Dresden is a non-profit association founded and supported by photo artists, curators, art collectors and photography enthusiasts. On the one hand, the association provides the forum, the place in Dresden the capital of Saxony where photography is discussed. On the other hand, the Fotoforum is the place where photographic art can be experienced and enjoyed in the heart of Dresden. For five years we have been running our own exhibition space where we present contemporary photographers from Germany and international. With our presentation at Interphoto 2024, we want to introduce the visitors of our neighboring country to a section of current trends in photographic art in Saxony. In doing so, we have taken care to show as many different positions as possible in the selection, which is quite limited. Some of the participating photographers are members of the Fotoforum Dresden, others are artists who have recently been presented to the Dresden public by us in solo and group exhibitions.
