East_tota

East is a state of mind, not a place. It is determination, unity, and action. It has been fascinating for a long time. The captivating power of the past of the East is the building material of the present. It gives a picture of the reality in which we are staying. The East provokes to establish a relationship with it. It makes the call of nature awake in man. The nature of the East is an inexhaustible source of inspiration, pushing into new, unknown areas. The east strengthens the spirit, thanks to which we enter wild and inaccessible places. The light from the east brightens the way. It entails an unceasing desire to cross the boundaries of the past and present time. We are his essence.

The East_tota project is the result of the annual work of third-year students - Master Class at the Białystok Academy of Photography and Entrepreneurship. Classes and guest lectures were conducted by directors of photographic festivals and well-known artists: Krzysztof Candrowicz, Hubert Humka, Grzegorz Jarmocewicz, Mindaugas Kavaliauskas, Anna Orłowska, Grzegorz Przyborek, Agnieszka Rayss and Adrian Wykrota.
